I meant to do this months ago, but completely forgot till now.

Obviously I have no interest in running another challenge here, so I'm going to step aside and let anyone who does have the enthusiam to run one have at it.

I'm going to give it a fortnight, if no one interested pops up I'll delete the community.

If you are thinking about it, in my experience it was very helpful to have it a two person operation. But if you think you can do it by yourself, I won't stand in your way.

A little later than usual, but thought I'd do that to let a few more votes come in, only I forgot to tell people that. Anyway! Behind the cut you shall find the results for the last challenge for this round, and banners for the winner, and runner-up.

A little reminder to our final two participants, that you have 24hrs to get your drabbles in for the final challenge.

SUBMISSION POST

20 July 2008 @ 11:32 am

This challenge is a little different, the final two participants both came up with a challenge for each other. Both of which are listed below, and you need to write a response to both of them. The length requirements will be shortened to between 100-499 words.

The challenges:

#1: "Well behaved women rarely make history" quote by Laurel Thatcher Ulrich
#2: Childish behavior.

Just to clarify, you need to write two drabbles, one for each of the challenges.

  • Drabbles must be between 100 - 499 words
  • Please do not post your drabbles anywhere else until the challenge is over, and what you wrote is to remain private until the results are revealed.
  • Comments on this post will be screened. Please comment with your submissions, and put the following information at the top of your comment:

I know it's a little early, but I have an idea for the final challenge, and it would be easier if this were posted now.

It's basically what happened in the last round, for the final challenge, the final two participants choose the challenge for the other. It can't be too involved, or difficult. Basically, nothing you yourself would not be comfortable writing a response to.

So if all of you remaining participants could comment to this post with a challenge in the next 36hrs that would be great! I know only two of you will be writing for it, but it just keeps things running smoothly if we do this now, and then I can post the challenges after the results on Sunday.

Comments will be screened, and if you have any questions ask away!

Thanks. ♥

Sorry for the delay folks, my computer hated me this morning, nothing was loading fast enough.

Behind the cut are the drabbles for this challenge, writing using second person narrative.

Usual rules still apply, no voting for yourself, and do not get people to vote for you.

So either, you guys really hated the challenge, and I suck. Or you've just been crazy busy?

minervasrevenge & gingeraled have about 10hrs to get their submissions in for the challenge. If you don't, I guess it's the final challenge, or we have a winner by process of elimination. It's been a rule since the beginning that challenges won't be extended, and I'm not going to change it now.
